Life is Interactive:
Dear Odette,
I was thinking the other day about the play that we were in, FAME, when we were in High School...maybe because I was wearing the shirt. I remember watching being their watching you perform in all your plays and supporting you through your hard times when trying to remember your lines. Watching you perform made me think that I maybe I should try performing in a play. That being said, the play FAME came to our school and I remember having rehearsals every day after school. At first I didn’t want to perform since I can’t act, but you pushed me to do it. From just another person in the audience watching a play to a performer. Although rehearsals were not always fun and required work when it comes to singing and dancing, we pushed through to make this play a memorable play.
I remember on our first night, being nervous and curious about how the show would turn out. Going through all the dances in my head I encouraged myself that they may be my only chance to perform in my High School. Not to mention all the late nights after performing and hanging out with the crew.
Even though I want not sure about the whole “play performing,” I decided that I would do it for my best friend knowing that it was your last year and you wanted to end it by doing something together. I am writing this letter to not only thank you for believing me but for always being a positive role model when it comes to getting involve and trying new activities. I will always cherish the FAME shirt, and wearing it will always remind me of our good times performing and meeting new people.
Your little sister,
Natasha J
